PSI messages at the top of African highest peak
Dar es Salaam June 22nd 2010 … In its 17 years of existence in Tanzania, on 18th of June 2010 PSI/Tanzania recorded yet another milestone when it’s Malaria, family planning and WaterGuard messages reached the peak of Africa’s highest mountain, Kilimanjaro.
To take the messages to the peak was PSI Country Representative, Daniel Crapper who spent seven days climbing the mountain. It normally takes between three to five days to reach the peak and up to three days coming down.
